Spark Up, an initiative of the Ghana Investment Promotion Council (GIPC) and the Ministry of Information, is an annual investment onboarding summit which connects investors, facilitating agencies, private service providers, and the general public to unlock fully Ghana’s investment potential. It is the single most important platform that connects all the dots in the FDI ecosystem.

Through Spark Up, government ministers, regulators, investors and prospective investors and everyone who matters directly engage on what it takes to maximize Ghana’s investment potential.

ABOUT GIPC

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre is Ghana’s foremost investment attraction and promotion agency under the Office of the President.

Guided by the GIPC Act 2013 (Act 865), the Centre courts and facilitates valuable investments to stimulate economic growth, unlock opportunities and spur job creation. The Centre also provides a diligent team of resource persons to furnish investors with insight and necessary guidelines towards a successful integration into the Ghanaian World of business, and as such remains the first point of contact for all foreign investors coming to Ghana.

About Ministry of Information

The Ministry of Information (MOI) is the principal organ responsible for the dissemination of Government’s development communication. As part of its core mandate, the Ministry ensures that feed-back information in respect of reaction to Government policies and actions, is brought to the attention of Government for quick response to help ameliorate and solve problems facing the citizenry.
